Governance


Afghanistan National Re-Construction Coordination has a good governance mechanism within the organization to ensure the effectiveness of ANCC’s governance and the development of sound governance policies and procedures, including making recommendations on various governance related matters.

ANCC’s structure and governance are designed to promote transparency and accountability in order to build strong long term working relationship with donors, partners and other stakeholders and to ensure the effective operation of the organization.

ANCC’s Bylaw details the responsibilities and authorities of ANCC’s executive committee and board. The Bylaw also addresses numbers of the board from organization and outside the organization and the election process for board members.

Board of Directors of the organization is the highest decision making body composed of 5 members. They make any organization related decision in consultation through majority votes from the current board members. All five members of the Board of Directors will be elected from outside the organization.

Executive Committee composed of seven members. Country Director, Deputy Country Director, Program Director and department heads are the members of executive committee.
